An event every week that begins at 7:30 pm on Monday, repeating indefinitely
BATTLE OF THE BANDS IS BACK!
Every Monday three bands take the stage to compete in the qualifying rounds. The winner of each round gets the chance to play in the final round for $250 in Cash and the opportunity to open for one our premier Friday/Saturday bands on the main stage. Bands can attend a promotional marketing meeting with Timmer and Kent from 6:30p to 7:15p. Their performance is allowed to have video photography taken at no charge by the venue. Audio is offered in stereo for $20 or in 32-tracks for later mixing for $100. The winners in both the qualifying and final round will be selected by the paying general public voting on secret ballots handed out that are only good for that date. The door cover charge is just $5 per person.
If your band wants to enter the competition send an email to kent.atthegarages@yahoo.com and include the following information:
- Band Name
- Musical genre
- Band Contact Person
- Contact Person phone #
- Contact Person email
- Sample tracks (at least two) (Links to music are fine)
- Monday dates your band is available (at least 3 for us to choose from)
Note: Band drummers will be all playing on the house kit. A base rig is available. All mics are provided by the house. Bands do not get a guest list. Order of bands will not be exposed until just before the event. The is no politics, religious preaching, demeaning of any race, creed, color or gender. The is absolutely no swearing in lyrics or personally. A band will be disqualified and removed from our stage if any of the forgoing are violated. May the best band win!
